Social networking for law librarians and friends of law libraries
New Group Administrator(s) Needed
Effective December 31, 2008, I am resigning my administrative position as Director of the University at Buffalo Law School Library to return to the faculty, where I will be teaching in the areas of Internet law, information privacy, and electronic evidence. I will also be Director of the new Program on Law and Emerging Technologies. But I won't be a law librarian anymore.
So it's time to hand over the reigns of the Law Libraries and Librarians Ning community to trustworthy hands. It doesn't take much work to keep it running, and it could easily be shared by two or three people. Interested? Let me know in the next couple of weeks. If there is a lot of interest, I'll post the names here for a casual and informal vote.

I've already lined up a couple of people to share the administrator role for this Ning community. I'd like to add one or two more to share the work. Not that there's much work involved--but with three or four people to help keep discussions lively and on point, this will continue to thrive as a successful online community. If no-one else has shown interest we'd love to put our hands up to admisnister the law libs Ning community
Do let me know if that's something we can do for the community
Our site is free access and open source and we wouldn't be trying to sell anything to members
