Here's a suggestion for the GenX GenY social event in DC next year: how about Brasserie Beck (http://www.beckdc.com/)? It's a Belgian restaurant with a great selection of Belgian beers, and room for 220 people.

I just looked it up: Brasserie Beck is at 1101 K Street, NW, just a couple of blocks from the Washington Convention Center.
