Social networking for law librarians and friends of law libraries
This Thursday a.m., Tour of Info Islands and Libraries on Second Life (SL)
Lori Bell (Lorelei), who's active in the AllianceSecondLife Google group (http://groups.google.com/group/alliancesecondlife) and the Virtual Worlds Research list (https://utlists.utexas.edu/sympa/info/vw-research), is offering the following opportunity to become more familiar with information resources in Second Life. SL time is Pacific time, so the special tour at 8 a.m. SL would be at 10 a.m. Central, 11 a.m. Eastern:
***We will also have a special tour for educators and librarians on Thursday,
May 29 at 8 am sl of Info Islands and the libraries. We will meet at the
open air auditorium on Info Island. At 9 am sl that day, we will meet on
Cybrary CIty, where Sonja Morgwain, Lorelei Junot, and other librarians will
talk about how you can set up a library or educational presence in Second
Life on one of the Info Island educational islands. If you need more
information or a teleport that day, please im Lorelei Junot or Sonja
Morgwain. *
