No. My JD is from USD in San Diego. There is a series of courses one can take to enable one to sit for an exam to get a solicitor's licence. A firm in Beverly Hills holds it here in SoCal.
Hi John, read your profile from the Obama page, and thought it might be fun to yak. I'm not that knowledgable on UK and EU law, but am interested in it. Started to take courses to qualify for my solicitor's licence and then abandoned it when I started at the law library here in San Diego.
SULS is great so far. Love the people and the ideas they have on using technology in the classroom. Yes, I'm going to CALI. I just registered last week.
Not much to say - helping people with their information needs, legal history, UK and EU law, technology in research are my areas of professional (and, sad to say, much of my personal) life.
