What to do with your JD

Take a look at this article: http://blogs.findlaw.com/greedy_associates/2009/10/99-things-to-do-with-your-jd-besides-practice-law.html It's very interesting to me that they do not mention becoming a law librarian. The article refers to several other articles with alternate jobs for people who have JD's.  None of them mention Law Librarianship.See More

I could figure out a lot of real names by reading the member profiles. Most everyone seems to have some version of their real names there. Anyway, it's fun having a second persona! :-) See you in Second Life! Lyo.

Ah, I wondered what triggered Jim adding the SL names - thought it was a great idea! :-) Yeah, I'm hoping to get a list of everyone's SL names so I can start networking via SL. It's been really helpful having Tink, Cat, Azure, and Jezzie to ask for help when I'm stuck on something in SL.

My home computer is not SL-compliant, so I go in to work on Saturdays to access it. This Saturday I'm going shopping in Real Life, though, since we don't have the SL class...:-) But I can do Sunday possibly? Let me know your SL plans and I'll see if I can make it. I still don't get building and I've attended two sessions! :-)

Thanks, Liz. Yes, we've had some great CS-SIS leadership in the past and I hope I continue the tradition. I think we're off to a great start with the Web 2.0 challenge thanks to all of our great instructors!

Hi Liz,
This is a great idea, I'm hoping to learn a lot more about web 2.0. I used mediawiki with my spring advanced legal research class and it worked extremely well. I'll send you the link.
